Work With Me

LET'S BUILD SOMETHING

Looking for high-quality, custom, handcrafted wood pieces tailored to your home?

When working with Brad, you’ll collaborate directly with a skilled craftsman who specializes in creating one-of-a-kind wood pieces. Whether it’s custom furniture or built-in cabinetry, Brad will work closely with you to design something that’s both functional and beautiful, with each piece thoughtfully made to last a lifetime.

Brad’s focus is on woodworking and stain application, ensuring the natural beauty of the wood shines through. If you'd like additional finishing touches, such as painting, we can provide trusted recommendations.

To get started, learn more about our process and view answers to common questions below.

THE PROCESS

CONSULTATION

To kick things off, we'll first meet for a consultation to talk through your project(s) of interest, look over any inspiration photos you may have, and gather measurements to be able to provide you with an estimate.

ESTIMATE

Following our consultation, we'll draft a project plan, material list, and calculations of estimated labor and material costs involved. We'll then share the project estimate with you by email to review.

SCHEDULE

Once we've received your approval of the estimate, we'll add you to our production schedule. The lead time from estimate approval to production can vary from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the size and complexity of the projects ahead of yours.

COLOR SELECTIONS

In preparation for production, we'll have you review and select your preferred hardware and stain color(s) if applicable.

*Important Note: Painting is not included in our services. If your project requires painting, you will need to hire a painter independently. We are happy to provide recommendations or project details and measurements to help you get an accurate painting quote if needed.

DEPOSIT + AGREEMENT

Approximately 1-2 weeks before production begins, we'll collect a deposit of 25-50% of the total project cost (depending on the specific project plan and cost of materials needed up front) and provide you with a brief service agreement to review and approve to officially begin.

BUILDING PHASE

After the service agreement is complete and the deposit has been collected, we'll officially begin the production of your project(s) to start bringing your vision to life!

INSTALLATION

Once production is nearing completion, we'll reach out to schedule the installation. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, installation can range anywhere from a couple of hours to several weeks. After installation, you can simply enjoy the finished product and, if applicable, begin working with your painter on any finishing touches you may desire.

Please note: Due to high demand, our project schedule and waitlist are currently full, but spots will reopen periodically.

FAQ

What services does Brad provide?

Brad specializes in custom woodworking projects, from shelving and cabinets to tables, doors, and other furniture pieces. His services also include staining, when relevant, to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. Brad takes pride in delivering custom, paint-ready furniture, and home installations tailored to your space and vision.

What area(s) do you serve?

We are currently serving Starkey Ranch in Odessa, FL, and communities within a 30-minute radius.

Does Brad offer painting services for custom pieces?

No, Brad does not provide painting services. While he builds and finishes each piece to be paint-ready, clients will need to hire a separate painter if their project requires painting. We’re happy to recommend a painter or provide project details and measurements to help you get an accurate quote for painting.

How can I reach you?

The best way to reach us is by email. For questions or concerns, please email info@bradfetters.com and someone from our team will reach out as soon as possible. While Brad is typically busy building, installing, or meeting with his customers, our operations manager will be happy to assist you and relay any information needed to Brad and the team.

Can Brad help with design ideas or suggestions?

Yes! During your consultation, Brad will be happy to discuss your ideas, offer design suggestions, and answer any questions you have to help bring your vision to life.

Can Brad assist with the electrical work or tiling that will accompany the project?

Brad is not licensed for electrical work or general contracting. His focus is exclusively on custom woodworking. If your project requires electrical or structural changes, you’ll need to hire a licensed contractor or electrician. Brad can work alongside other professionals when appropriate to ensure your custom woodwork fits seamlessly into the broader project.

Why does it take so long?

Each project will be handmade by Brad himself and while he is known for running 50 and even 100 mile races, he will never rush through a custom woodworking project. We take great pride in our quality of workmanship and will always spend as much time as needed on each specific project to ensure it meets our client's needs and vision. Every project we do is different than the next- made to its own unique dimensions and specifications.

Brad prides himself on seeing each project through from start to finish which means he's the one meeting with you in-person to discuss the details of the project, hand-selecting the materials needed, creating the plans, building the physical piece(s), and installing.  A single custom project can range anywhere from 2 weeks in duration to 8 weeks depending on the complexity and overall size of the project.

When will the waitlist reopen?

What does the typical process look like when working with you?

Because we do book out quite far, we recommend getting on the waitlist as soon as possible. You do not need to have all of the details of your project figured out at that point.

As spaces become available on our schedule, we then reach out to those on our waitlist in the order in which the inquiries were received to set up a consultation.
